Blooming Prairie Public Schools’ Technology Department
History: Blooming Prairie High School began a 1:1 iPad program in 2012 for grades 7 – 12. We have done a refresh about every 4-5 years since.
Current Technology:
- Kindergarten classes have classroom sets of iPads.
- 1st through 12th grades have individual iPad 11s (7th – 12th have the option of taking them home).
- We use Microsoft Office, Schoology, and JMC as our main platforms, and a handful of other apps, websites, and programs to aid in our students’ education.
We hope to continue providing students with technology that will allow them to excel once they leave BPHS.Â
