How does Spelling work in 1st grade?
Each Monday students are given a Spelling Pre-test.  If a student scores 80% or higher (+10, +9, +8), the student moves onto the Enrichment Spelling List for the Spelling Test on Friday.  If a student scores 70% (+7) or lower, the student stays on the Spelling List for the Spelling Test on Friday.  The higher score between the Pre-test and the Final Test will be recorded into the Grade Book.
