1. E-mail is not allowed during the school day, unless under the supervision of a teacher for educational purposes.

2. PRINTING MORE THAN FIVE PAGES REQUIRES PERMISSION.

3. Downloading software, sending disrespectful or degrading messages to anyone (including your friends on e-mail), writing your name, address, telephone number, school name, credit card number, social security number or accessing inappropriate material is prohibited for your protection. You must understand that people wanting to know who and where you are could be very dangerous to your well-being, protect yourself. If you are caught doing any of these, you will lose your privilege to use the school’s Internet for a period of time determined by the teacher in charge.

4. You are not allowed in Chat-rooms at any time. Chat-rooms are defined as any area of the Internet where a two-way conversation takes place. This kind of activity can put you at risk because there is no way for you to determine the intentions of the person at the other end of the chat line.

5. Research, information seeking and school-related projects have first priority over other Internet searches. If you are caught in inappropriate web pages, you simply will lose the right to use the Internet for a period of time.

6. The school is not responsible for your actions on Internet and will not be held liable for anything you do while on-line.
