WHEN ARE YOU TOO SICK FOR SCHOOL?
A child should not come to school (or will be sent home from school) if they have or have had:
A fever of 100 degrees or more in the past 24 hours (this needs to be taken before fever reducing medication has been given, ex: Tylenol, Ibuprofen or some cold medicine).
Vomiting or diarrhea in the past 24 hours
An undiagnosed skin rash
Please report any positive strep, or influenza- (follow doctors guidelines on keeping students home after confirmation of above conditions)
Please feel free to call me or email me with any questions.
I have provided a link to the Hennepin County Child Manual. Please use this as a resource to find out information about illness your child may encounter.
